Perez wants more success following stunning season

CAIRO – 20 December 2017: Real Madrid President Florentino Perez revealed his happiness after the club’s successes this season, but they will try to improve to gain more success.

“We live with immense happiness after one of the best seasons in our 115-year history. Our football team has managed to win five titles, something we've never done before,” Perez told press on Wednesday, according to Marca.

Real Madrid won five titles in 2017: the UEFA Champions League title, Spanish League title, Spanish Super Cup, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.

Perez believes that these successes are not enough for the club. He has said, “At this club, we always want more; there isn't time for complacency. Real Madrid is aware of what it represents; we want to take advantage of the badge. We want to continue being a reference point in values."

Perez is one of the most historic presidents in Real Madrid history. He ran the club as a president in two separate spells. The first one was between 2000 and 2006, and he returned again to run the club from 2009 until now.
