CAIRO – 17 December 2017: Egyptian squash player Mohamed El Shorbagy will face his brother Marwan El Shorbagy on the evening of December 17, at the final of AJ Bell PSA Squash World Championships in the men’s competitions.

Marwan qualified for the final after beating another Egyptian, Ali Farag, in the semifinal in a 3-2 victory on Saturday. His brother booked his seat in the final after defeating France’s Gregory Gaultier with a clean victory of 3-0.

Meanwhile, the final of the women’s competitions will also be fully Egyptian. Nour El Sherbiny, ranked the first worldwide, will play against fellow Egyptian Raneem El Welily. The tournament takes place in Manchester, United Kingdom.

El Sherbiny also faced an Egyptian player in the semifinal named Nour El Tayeb. She managed to win the game 3-2, while El Welily defeated France’s Camille Serme, who is ranked third worldwdide, in a 3-0 victory.
