CAIRO – 17 December: Real Madrid is the first team in history to win two consecutive Club World Cups.

Real Madrid won the Club World Club, played in the UAE, for the second time in a row after Saturday's 1-0 victory over Gremio in the final played.

This victory puts the team as the only one to have won the FIFA Club World Cup twice in a row, a record that has never been achieved by any team.

Real Madrid has won five titles: Champions League, Super European, Super League, Spanish League and Club World Cup, for the first time in the history of the club.

The only goal of the final match against Gremio was scored by Cristiano Ronaldo on the 53rd minute.

The Royal Club achieved the FIFA Club World Cup’s title last year after beating Kashima Antlers 4-2.
