CAIRO – 15 December 2017: Tanta tied with Al-Ahly at Ghazl Al-Mahalla Stadium in round 13 of the Egyptian Premier League.
Walid Azaro scored the first goal in the 41st minute of the match, before Ayman Ashraf scored in the 62nd minute to end the match 1-1.
Al-Ahly is currently second in the league’s table with 26 points. The “Red Devils” hold a record of eight wins, two draws and one loss to Misr El-Makasa.
Tanta places 15th in the league table with 13 points. They have won two games, drawn seven and lost four.
Hossam El-Badry, Al Ahly’s coach, did not make any major changes to his line-up from when they were defeated 2-3 by El-Makasa in their last game.
Al-Ahly’s last game against Tanta ended with a 1-0 victory for Al-Ahly, with Sulimani Kolibali scoring the vital goal.
