Rooney receives Goal of the month award

CAIRO – 15 December 2017: Wayne Rooney has received November Carling Goal of the Month for his wonderful strike against West Ham at the Premier League on Wednesday November 29.

Wayne Rooney scored a hat trick against West Ham at Everton’s stadium, Goodison Park, before his Welsh teammate Ashley Williams scored the fourth goal to end the game 4-0 to Everton.

"It’s one of - if not the best - goals I've ever scored, I think I hit it as well as I've ever kicked a football!" Rooney told Everton official website after receiving the award.

Wayne Rooney has an amazing run with his childhood club, Everton since he rejoined them this summer from Manchester United. Rooney scored nine goals in the Premier League to be his team’s top goal scorer this season.

Liverpool Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah won the player of the month award while Manchester City’s Spanish manager, Pep Guardiola, won the manager of the month.
