Mkhitaryan is about to return to Dortmund

CAIRO – 14 December: Manchester United player Henrikh Mkhitaryan is set to return to his former club Borussia Dortmund in the upcoming winter transfer window.

The 28-year-old Armenian international, wants to leave Manchester United in January as Jose Mourinho has many other options for the position.

The Daily Star newspaper stated that there were bets for Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s return to Borussia Dortmund in January after losing his starting position at Manchester United this season.

It also said that Barcelona are in the race to sign Mkhitaryan as a replacement for the Neymar who signed for Paris Saint-Germain, as well as to strengthen the team's offensive in the second half of the season.

Mkhitaryan joined Manchester United last summer from Borussia Dortmund.
He played in 58 matches with the Red Devils scoring 13 goals and making 11 assists.
