CAIRO – 8 December 2017: The 16th round of the English Premier League will begin Saturday, and the Fantasy players await strong matches, including the Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton and the Manchester derby between United and City.
In the new round we will see a very important event; the special cup of the fantasy game organized by the official website of the English Premier League will also begin; constituting a system different from the past years.
This year's tournament will start from the 17th round instead of the 18th round, and the participation in that tournament depends on your rank in the 16th Round, which is as follows:
1 - The top 4,194,304 scorers in Gameweek 16 will enter the first round. If there are more than 4,194,304 qualifiers then there will be a random draw amongst the lowest scorers to see who qualifies.
2 - The tournament system will consist of direct confrontations 'Head to Head' with the knockout system.
3 - If a cup match is drawn, then the following tie-breaks will be applied until a winner is found:
1. Most goals scored in the Gameweek
2. Fewest goals conceded in the Gameweek
3. Virtual coin toss
4 - It is recommended not to make more than the free transfers, because the over transfer will subtract 4 points from your points in the round.
5 – Cub prizes are:
• VIP hospitality at one Premier League 2018/19 match of the winner’s choice including travel and two nights’ accommodation (B&B basis)
• Copy of FIFA and games console
• Tablet computer
• Bluetooth speaker
• Nike manager jacket
• FPL goody bag (rucksack, t-shirt, mug, water bottle, stress ball, pen/pad, key ring)
Here are the English Premier League fixtures for the 16th round:
Manchester's derby between United and City will be out of expectations, and Jose Mourinho will work on the desperate defense in front of Guardiola's sweeping attack! Therefore, the game may end in a draw, but it is difficult to predict the brilliance of a particular player.
The Merseyside derby with the shining Liverpool players scored 12 goals in just four days. At the same time, Sam Allardyce assumed responsibility for Everton. The team has become defensive and has not received a goal in the last three games. It's hard to score a lot of goals.
Arsenal is looking forward to a tough match against Southampton, while Tottenham plays against Stoke at home.
Chelsea faces a tough challenge with West Ham in a small London derby, but after West Ham's impressive performance in the last game against Manchester City, Chelsea may suffer in that match.
In the last round, the best Fantasy coach scored 129 points with the activation of the Triple Captain chip on Eden Hazard which achieved 45 points. Firmino, Schmeichel, Morata and Coutinho were also present in his squad.
Here is the best coach of the last round squad:
Nominations for the next round will be a little easier than previous rounds because there are not as many tough games that are hard to predict:
Sadio Mane (9.4):The Senegalese star performed really well in the English Premier League and the Champions League. Last season he scored the winning goal in the first leg against Everton in the last minute.
Harry Kane (12.8): The English Premier League's second top scorer with 10 goals against Stoke City who have had a weak defense system this season. Tottenham needs to win over Stoke and they are expected to score more than a single goal.
Charlie Austin (6): The English striker scored seven goals in the last 10 starts with Southampton, and with Arsenal’s weak defense, he could score again.
Marvin Zeegelaar (4.4): In the upcoming Burnley match for the team and with their respective season, the match could end in a goalless draw, or Watford's win because of a suspicion of Burnley's Mee and Lowton participation.
Egypt Today’s suggested lineup:
Captain Candidates:
- Harry Kane
- Christian Eriksen
- Sadio Mane
