CAIRO - 12 March 2017: The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Champions League trophy is expected to stop in Cairo for a two-day visit in April as part of the UEFA trophy world tour. The stop would be hosted by Al Ahram Beverages Company (ABC),

Manchester United former star Ryan Giggs will be among the European delegation coming to Egypt as part of the tour, Al-Watan added.
Fans will be allowed to enter the hotel where Giggs is staying and take pictures with the trophy before it is sent to the Egyptian Museum, the paper added. A friendly football tournament will also be held as part of a propaganda campaign for such an important sports event.
