CAIRO – 5 December 2017: Second-placed Bayern Munich and leaders Paris Saint Germain are set to meet on Tuesday in the last round of the UEFA Champions League at Allianz Arena Stadium in Munich at 9:45 p.m. (CLT). PSG leads with a difference of three points ahead of Bayern in group B.

Despite everything, Bayern and Paris are guaranteed to qualify to the next knockout stage, but Paris could leave the leadership if it Bayern Munich defeats them by four goals or more.

The Allianz Arena clash will examine the toughness of PSG and will be the game to discover whether the Spanish coach of PSG, Unai Emery, has learned from past mistakes, like the Camp Nou 6-1 defeat to Barcelona last season.

Emery needs to test his defending line in that kind of big game against one of the toughest stadiums and fans in Europe.

Bayern is not the same as in September when they fell by 3-0 at the Parc des Princes, PSG’s stadium. Carlo Ancelotti was the coach of the Bavarians then, but now it is Jupp Heynckes, a coach who regained the leadership in the Bundesliga and has recovered old feelings.

"We want to show our prestige on the European scene by beating a team that has spent more than €500 million ($591 million) on signings in the past summer," said Heynckes.

The German coach does not rule out the feat against the leader of Ligue 1. "Our fans will warm up the atmosphere, and we want to show that we are one of the great European clubs."

Emery admitted that PSG will go for the three points.
"We know that we can suffer a lot. We will have the opportunity to show a good game against a team that has a very high level. We really want to play this game,” said Emery.
