Egypt's weightlifter Sara Samir cops gold medal in World Champions

ANAHEIM - 3 December 2017: Egypt's weightlifter Sara Samir copped the gold medal in the International World Federation (IWF) World Championships in Anaheim, California.

She lifted 136kg in the clean and jerk after she failed in the three snatch attempts.

On Saturday, Egypt's weightlifter Mohamed Ihab gave the country its first gold medal at the World Championship in 66 years, winning three golds in Anaheim.

Ihab emerged the winner in the snatch, clean and jerk and the total results in the men’s 77kg category to make history for Egypt.
