CAIRO – 29 November 2017 : West Bromwich Albion announced that they reached an agreement with English manager, Alan Pardew, to take the helm on Wednesday.

Pardew will succeed the sacked manager, Tony Pulis, who has managed the club since 2015.

“I'm aware that while I'm joining one of the great, traditional clubs of English football, it is one determined to go forward in the Premier League. The immediate challenge will be to get the results we need to pull ourselves up the table,” Pardew told the West Brom Official website on Wednesday.

Pardew is one of the experienced managers in the Premier League; he has previously managed West Ham United, Charlton Athletic, Southamption, Newcastle United and Crystal Palace.

West Bromwich Chairman, John Williams, praised Pardew; “Alan brings the experience of more than 300 Premier League games and the kind of dynamic leadership from which our club can benefit.”

West Bromwich have stalled in the Premier League after their magnificent start; they won their first two matches but lost six games and drew in six others.

West Bromwich are placed 16th in the league with 12 points.
