CAIRO – 28 November 2017 : Stoke City manager Mark Hughes praised Liverpool’s Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, ahead of Stoke’s game against Liverpool on Wednesday.

“We are facing a player in Mohamed Salah who is clearly in the best form of his Liverpool career; he has real technical quality and, crucially, pace,” Hughes told press on Monday.

Salah is the Premier League top goal scorer with 10 goals. He scores a goal every 102 minutes, according to BBC.

However, Hughes believes that Salah is not the only threat to his team. He said, “But we can't be overly concerned with one player though, because they have match winners all over the pitch. We need to nullify them on Wednesday.”

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is expected to start Wednesday’s game with all his attacking weapons after he rested Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino against Chelsea on Saturday.

Hughes spoke about Liverpool’s style of play, saying, “They play with a high tempo and press, which is maybe why they sometimes get caught out.”

Hughes puts much hope on the Liverpool game to regain the fans’ confidence after the 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace on Saturday.
