Gohar Nabil withdraws from the list of Mahmoud El-Khatib

CAIRO – 27 November 2017: Gohar Nabil announced his withdrawal from the list of Mahmoud El-Khatib in the Al Ahly SC club elections for the Board of Directors.

He posted on his official Facebook account, “I regret that I will not be able to continue permanently with the list of Captain Mahmoud El-Khatib. I announce from now, in front of the members of the General Assembly and the fans of the great Al Ahly club, that I am out of the list and running for the seat on the Board of Directors above the age, alone and independently.”

Gowhar Nabil said, “The conditions, which I have witnessed, do not mean that we are in front of a list that serves the objectives and principles of the club and the members of the General Assembly.”

“I will continue the election independently,” he said. “I will discuss the details of this decision tonight at 5 pm at a press conference at the Semiramis InterContinental Hotel.”
