Officially: Amr Jazarin president of Gezira Sporting Club

CAIRO – 26 November 2017: The committee overseeing the elections of Gezira Sporting Club announced that Amr Jazarin won the post of president of the club after winning 7,310 votes.

Sherif Saif al-Nasr won the position of Vice President with 9,635 votes and Raouf Noor won 7,590 votes for the treasurer. While, Lamia Saqr’s 8,994 votes, Mona Awwad’s 5,922 votes, Tarek Nassar’s 6,054 votes, and Khalifa's 5,951 votes guaranteed them a position on the Board of Directors.

The positions available for membership under the age of 30 were won by Noor with 8,420 votes, and Ayman Hakki with 8,514 votes, and the auditor Saif Mustafa 6,927 votes. The General Assembly was attended by 15,996 members.

Egyptian sports clubs` elections started this weekend. Many clubs prepared for the major event, as per the Ministry of Youth and Sports instructions.
