Simeone leads Atletico Madrid to victory, 5-0

CAIRO – 26 November 2017: Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone, kown as the 'Cholo', continued his record with his team after leading the Rojiblanco on Saturday for a 5-0 win over Levante in the 13th round of La Liga.

Simeone completed 121 of 225 games with Atletico without conceding any goal in La Liga. He competed at a successful rate of 53.7 percent of the total matches.

Simeone continued his move away from his nearest competitor, Johan Cruyff, the former Barcelona coach, and took 118 out of 300 matches – 39 percent of the matches played – with Barça without conceding any goal.

Nearly six years on the bench of Atlético Madrid, the 'Cholo' is going through one of the toughest phases of his career.

The ‘Rojiblanco’ team, formally known as Atletico, already has a foot and a half outside the Champions League due to this lague’s disappointing results, especially after the two draws against Qarabag.
