Cairo – 26 November: Swansea City has done well to end a series of defeats in the last four Premier League matches with a 0-0 draw against Bournemouth at Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

Swansea midfielder Leroy Fer missed the opportunity to snatch the win in the last 10 minutes after a shot at goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, and he failed to follow the rebound, while Tammy Abraham called for a penalty late on.

Swansea striker Wilfried Bony had the best chance of the game at the end of the first half when he shot the ball into the net, but the referee disallowed the goal after Jordan Ayew fouled defender Nathan Ake during the build-up.

Bournemouth started the game well but failed to advance in the second minute, as Marc Pugh scuffed after a low cross by Joshua King.

Bournemouth sat back to defend, and Swansea's confidence grew, but the hosts failed to exploit the opportunities he had won.
