Cairo – 25 November: Eric Cantona, French football legend and former Manchester United player, has described Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) as a “small club”, praising two players who have little prominence in the Parisian side, Javier Pastore and Hatem Ben Arfa.
Cantona took advantage of an interview with the FullTimeDEVILS network on YouTube, who dedicate their content to Manchester United as the 25th anniversary of his arrival at Old Trafford approached, to attack PSG.
Cantona spoke about several issues, most related to Manchester United, including: Mourinho, Pogba, the possible signing of Griezmann.
The subject of PSG entered the discussion when he was asked which player of the Parisian team would move to the Old Trafford club.
Quickly, Cantona replied: "Pastore, I love Pastore, PSG has two great players, Pastore and Ben Arfa, but they do not play."
The player added: "Pastore is very special, he surprises every time he touches the ball, he passes the ball to someone you have not seen in the play, he plays for Argentina, a great country, but he does not play for a big club".
Later, Cantona laughs and continues sarcastically, "But they have a lot of money, so they must be a big club."
Cantona’s word’s aggravated PGS, who replied via Twitter: "When the seagulls follow a boat, they think they are going to throw sardines."
PSG borrowed the quote from Cantona himself, who aimed it at the press during a conference in 1995, in which he was discussing his prison sentence and community service for having assaulted a Crystal Palace fan.
