Nebojsa criticizes Ali Gabr

CAIRO – 21 November 2017: Zamalek coach Jovovic Nebojsa has criticized Zamalek defender Ali Gabr for his performance in recent training sessions, which has been reflected in his last appearances with the team.

Ali Gabr made a critical mistake in the team’s last match against Al-Nasr, which resulted in conceding a goal. The match ended with a 2-1 win for Zamalek, but the game could have easily ended with a draw.

Nebojsa held a meeting with Ali Gabr and demanded a higher level of concentration from the defender, as he hasn’t been at his best level recently. The coach added that if Gabr’s performance continues at this level, he will exclude him from the starting squad and put Mahmoud Hamdy or Mohamed Magdy on instead.

The Zamalek coach revealed to Gabr that he had supported him when he wanted to start games with Zamalek in order to join the national team and that now he has to focus on Zamalek matches and offer a good level for the team, otherwise he will be excluded in the future.
