CAIRO – 17 November 2017: Former Liverpool player and manager Kenny Dalglish revealed that he is happy with Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah’s performance with the team.
“Mo (Salah) has got a bad habit of scoring goals and he doesn’t want to give up that habit,” Dalglish told Liverpool Echo on Friday.
Salah, 25, joined Liverpool this summer from AS Roma and has since then become the club’s top goal scorer this season, scoring 11 goals in the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.
Dalglish spoke about Salah’s quick adaptation with Liverpool, saying, “Sometimes clubs suit players and sometimes players suit clubs. He seems to have a really happy relationship with the club, the players, and the manager. He’s been excellent so far."
Dalglish is one of the greatest figures in the history of Liverpool. He joined the club in 1977 from Celtic Glascow. He wore Liverpool’s red shirt for 14 years, including six years serving as a player and a manager at the same time.
He won six Football League first division titles and three European Cup titles.
