CAIRO – 14 November 2017: Real Madrid’s German midfielder, Toni Kroos, revealed his opinion about the French League (Ligue 1), which has turned out to be the destination of many players in the recent years.
“The French league is not bad, generally, but it is quite clear who wins in the end,” Kroos told press on Monday.
Many players have preferred to join Ligue 1 clubs, like Neymar Jr. and Angel Di Maria, who left Barcelona and Manchester United, respectively, to join Paris Saint Germain, and Radamel Falcao, who left Athletico Madrid to join Monaco.
Kroos added, "Either you go to PSG or you don't go there.”
Kroos believes that the German League (Bundesliga) is better than Ligue 1. He said, “The Bundesliga is a strong league and a good place to go. One can only recommend the Bundesliga."
Kroos experienced playing in the Bundesliga for two teams. He represented Bayern Munich for seven years and then spent a year on loan to Bayer Leverkusen.
