Netherlands are hiring a coach

CAIRO – 9 November 2017: Louis van Gaal and Ronald Koeman, former colleagues and friends, crossed paths again with the Dutch team on the table.

The resignation of Dick Advocaat to the bench of the Oranges has opened bets regarding his successor; and both occupy a prominent place.

Koeman's name has remained on the map for weeks. In mid-October, when he was still leading Everton, he was questioned about his possible appointment after the elimination of the Dutch team in the race for the World Cup. "It is not possible to think about it now," cut off the coach, whose personal situation has absolutely changed.

His dismissal from Everton, after the match against Arsenal, made the former Barcelona player an unemployed coach; free to negotiate with whomever he wishes, returning to be related to the Dutch national team.
