FIFA invites Hossam Hassan to attend 2018 World Cup draw

CAIRO – 7 November 2017: Al-Masry’s coach Hossam Hassan has received an invitation from the International Federation of Football (FIFA) to attend the 2018 World Cup draw ceremony scheduled for December 1 at the Kremlin Palace Ballroom in Moscow.

Masry announced on its official website that its coach had received an invitation signed by Gianni Infantino, president of FIFA, who also invited him to attend a dinner scheduled for November 30 with a selection of football legends from around the world.

This invitation came in recognition of the great role played by Hassan during his career in football. He was given the title of dean of the world players in 2001, in addition to having been a historic player, with 69 goals for the national team in 176 international matches played between 1985 and 2006.
