CAIRO – 4 November 2017: Mohamed Abou Treika hailed Ramadan Sobhi and asked him to take his chances with Stoke City.
“Ramadan Sobhi is the second best talent in Egypt after Mohamed Salah. He will have a great future if he takes advantage of the opportunities he gets,” Abou Treika told beIN Sports.
“Stoke’s manager Mark Hughes is convinced of his abilities and will continue to give him chances, but it’s Ramadan’s responsibility to produce good performances,” he added.
Sobhi played his first match with Stoke City as part of the U-23 team, and then he made his first appearance in the Premier League in a match against Manchester City.
It was a big challenge for him. He wore Stoke City’s jersey in 19 matches, without scoring any goals in the last season, but he had two assists for the team. Sobhi is now one of the key players for Stoke City.
