CAIRO – 3 November 2017: England coach Gareth Southgate has called on Swansea City striker Tammy Abraham, who is officially loaned to Swansea from Chelsea.

Joe Gomez and Ruben Loftus-Cheek also have been named in Gareth Southgate's England senior squad for the first time.

England and Germany will meet in a friendly match this month after qualifying for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Abraham has Nigerian nationality from his father, making him eligible to represent the Green Eagles.

But the player issued an official statement confirming that he was still available to represent the England team, denying his approach to play for Nigeria.
Abraham is having a good season with Swansea City in the Premier League, scoring four goals in 10 games and making one assist.

The full squad consists of Tammy Abraham, Dele Alli, Ryan Bertrand, Jack Butland, Gary Cahill, Fabian Delph, Eric Dier, Joe Gomez, Joe Hart, Jordan Henderson, Phil Jones, Harry Kane, Jesse Lingard, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Harry Maguire, Jordan Pickford, Marcus Rashford, Danny Rose, Raheem Sterling, John Stones, Kieran Trippier, Jamie Vardy, Kyle Walker, Harry Winks and Ashley Young.
