CAIRO – 2 November 2017: Ahmed Soliman submitted his candidacy for the presidency of Zamalek SC at its headquarters on Thursday morning.
Soliman is running against Mortada Mansour, Zamalek`s current president, in the upcoming election, slated for November 23 and 24.
Mortada decided to allow candidates, who are running for the upcoming elections, to access the club from any door as a way of facilitating the process for them. He also decided not to publish his name or photo in the club’s magazine as a form of ensuring equality among all candidates.
Candidates that will run in the next elections can submit their papers in the next four days.
Mortada announced on Monday his list of staff in Zamalek’s elections this month. It consists of Mortada Mansour (president), Ahmed Galal Ibrahim (vice president), Ahmed Mortada Mansour (vice president), Hazem Yassin (treasurer), Sherif El Far, Hany Zada, Alaa Mokled and Ismail Yousef (members).
While Ahmed Soliman’s list is: Ahmed Soliman (president), Hany El Attal (vice president), Seif El Ammary (treasurer), Mostafa Abdel Khalek, Mohamed Abou El Ela, Abdullah George and Hussein El Semary (members).
