Al Ahly fans attend pre-final training

CAIRO – 31 October 2017: Al Ahly’s fans began to fill Mokhtar Al Tetsh stadium in Al Ahly club to attend the team’s last training session before traveling to Morocco for the African Champions League’s final.

Ahly decided to open its doors for fans to support players in their final training session before travelling to Morocco to face Wydad Athletic Club, in the second leg match of the CAF African Champions League finals, which will be held at Stade Mohammed V, Casablanca, Morocco on November 4.

Ahly hosted Wydad in the final’s first leg match at Borg Al Arab stadium. The game ended in a 1-1 draw, leaving Ahly in a deadlock as the red team has to win the away game to win the title.

Ahly holds the championship record for most title wins with eight under their belt. The team is scheduled to leave Cairo on November 1 for Morocco, taking with them their fan’s hopes and expectations of a ninth title victory.
