Half time: Al-Ahly attacks and wastes, Wydad counterattacks

CAIRO –28 October 2017: The first half of the Al-Ahly and Wydad Casablanca match held at Borg El Arab Stadium in the Africa Champions League final ended.

Both teams are tied, as Mo’men Zakaria scored a goal in the second minute for Al-Ahly, while Wydad tied with a goal by Achraf Bencharki in the 16th minute.

Al-Ahly never cooled off after Zakaria’s goal. Azzaro missed to score a goal in the sixth minute after receiving the ball, but he was confused and shot the ball away from the net.
Wydad succeeded in scoring the equalizer in the 16th minute by Bencharki, who received a cross from Mohamed Ounajem and put it in Ekramy’s net with a header.

Abdeladim Khadrouf was sent in to replace Mohamed Ounajem due to an injury.
