Cairo – 28 October 2017:Current Premier League champions Chelsea seeks to improve the team's performance, which has been disappointing in the domestic championship at the start of the season.

The goal, according to The Sun, is Lazio striker Ciro Immobile, the Serie A top scorer with 13 goals.

The Roman club is not very willing to negotiate, but according to the same source, it would if Roman Abramovich, Chelsea`s owner, agrees to pay between €50-60 million ($58-69.5 million) for the striker`s services.

The Russian owner, who will also try to sign other players, wants to satisfy the wishes of his coach, Antonio Conte, who believes that the Italian striker would be the best complement of Alvaro Morata.

The coach, in addition, believes that the club must sign players in January and also in the summer.

Conte managed to coach Immobile previously at Juventus, when the 27-year-old striker was active in the youth squad.

According to Gazzettadello Sport, Chelsea would not be the only team interested in his services.

Shanghai SPIG would be willing to offer $80 million for him, although he is more seduced to play in the Premier League than to embark on the Chinese adventure.
