CAIRO – 25 October 2017: According to the Spanish newspaper Sport, Arsenal and Manchester United have shown intentions in taking the captain of Borussia Dortmund, Marco Reus. He is currently undergoing a long recovery after his serious knee injury suffered in the final of the German Cup.

While it is not the right time to offer a contract due to Reus`s physical condition, both Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger have been interested in him.

Mourinho and Wenger showed their admiration for the German talent. Expect their will to be fulfilled and plans for non-renewal to be maintained, all in order to start negotiations.

The German midfielder finishes his contract in June 2019 and has shown that his intention is to look for new places by saying, "In 2019, I will be 30 years old, and maybe it is the last chance to try something different from the first level clubs. I will have to make a decision then,” he acknowledged in an interview.

For this reason, if Dortmund wants to get some money out of him, they must do so in one of the next markets, a situation that has alerted both the Gunners and Red Devils.
