CAIRO – 22 October 2017: Huddersfield town manager, David Wagner was so happy after the (2-1) victory over Manchester United on Saturday.

“I am totally aware that this is a very special moment. I am happy and proud of it,” Wagner told reporters after the game.

Huddersfield town last defeated Manchester United in 1952, when Manchester United won the league at the end of the season while Huddersfield town relegated.

Wagner added; “I am totally aware that this is a special moment. I live in Huddersfield, so I know a little bit about how huge this result is for the town, for the supporters, for the chairman and for the board. I am happy and proud of it.”

Wagner’s team will play another top game against Liverpool on Saturday, October 28, at Liverpool’s historic stadium, Anfield.

Huddersfield town reached 11th place with 12 points after three victories, three defeats and three games ending with a draw.
