Henry: “Salah is a special player”

CAIRO – 15 October 2017: Former Arsenal player Thierry Henry praised Liverpool’s Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah after his amazing performance with the team in the Premier League.

“I think for me he is special, he has something special and I think he is a special player and will be a special player for Liverpool,” Henry said on Saturday ahead of Liverpool’s clash against Manchester United that ended with a nil-nil draw.

Henry added; “I like the fact that he’s direct, we don’t have a lot of players like that in the game anymore.”

Henry defended Salah against criticism from the press, saying; “some people will say he needs four opportunities to score a goal. But when he’s able to finish all the opportunities that he has, he will be more than lethal for this club.”

Salah is Liverpool’s top scorer in the Premier League with four goals.
