Edinson Cavani clashes with Luis Suarez

CAIRO – 14 October 2017: Luis Suárez and Edinson Cavani maintained a clash during the encounter of Uruguay and Bolivia in the 2018 World Cup qualifier that captured the cameras.

The tension started during a play in which Cavani claimed to Suarez, Barcelona striker, a pass after finishing the play. Cavani`s gesture did not please Suárez who asked for explanations, raising the tone.

The scene reminded the fans of the disagreement that also happened between Cavani and Neymar in Paris Saint-German.

The disagreement did not end here; because after one of the two goals of Suárez, his teammates went to congratulate the striker of the Barça. Among them was not Cavani who simply moved towards the midfield, ignoring the celebration.

Uruguay beat Bolivia 4-2 and confirmed the qualification to the 2018 World Cup. It is worth mentioning that Argentina also qualified to the World Cup, and it pleased Suárez a lot, who acknowledged having been in contact with Messi in recent days.
