Al Ahly hopes for 60k fans against Etoile

11 October 2017:Al Ahly President, Mahmoud Taher, seeks to convince officials to allow 60k from Al Ahly fans to be in Borg El Arab stadium to support Al Ahly against Etoile du Sahel at the second leg of CAF Champions League semi-finals.

Officials sent on Tuesday an approval for only 40k fans, but Taher will use the fans’ amazing image against Congo to increase this number.

On the other hand, Al Ahly doctor, Khaled Mahmoud announced that Abdallah El Said will not be ready for the game against Etoile and he still needs more time to be able to participate with the team.

Abdallah suffered a muscle injury at the first leg against Etoile and missed Egypt national team game against Congo.

It is good to mention that Al Ahly lost the semi finals’ first leg 2-1 in Sousse, Tunisia and the team needs to win the game in Borg El Arab to qualify to the final.
