CAIRO – 5 October 2017: The ex futbolista, Romário de Souza, took advantage of the presentation of his book "An Eye on the Ball, Another One in the Offices - the Organized Crime in the Brazilian Soccer," to take chest of his achievements as a player, comparing himself to the two best players of the world; Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Brazilian, currently a politician, wanted to highlight his numbers as a scorer during his career remembering that they are above those that are presented by the Argentinean and Portuguese. "In the goals matter, I will outlast both of them; it is true they have different characteristics than I had."

Romário also included his compatriot Neymar in the fight for being the best soccer player. "Today they are the best in the world, like Neymar. They have achieved many titles, but leaving modesty aside, I can say that even though they have won Golden Balls, the area is still better," he told Globoesporte.

The legend considers it unlikely that neither Messi nor Ronaldo will reach the thousand goals Romario did (Romário reached 1003). "They are over 30 years, and it will be very difficult."
