Thierry Henry praises Anhtony Martial

CAIRO – 05 October 2017: Former French footballer Thierry Henry, who played for Arsenal and FC Barcelona among other teams, has stated that Manchester United`s striker Anthony Martial is a better player than he was at his age.

Martial, 21, is in his third season with Manchester United, where Coach Jose Mourinho makes him an alternate choice to the starting lineup as a substitution in an attempt not to burn him. Last Saturday, he intervened in the last 19 minutes of the match, enabling his team to win against Crystal Palace 4-0 in the Premier League.

With this performance in Manchester United, Martial was featured in 100 games with Manchester and managed to score 30 goals.

"Martial is a much better player than I was at his age. He can become a world figure," admitted compatriot Thierry Henry.

At 21, Martial has played 174 games between Olympique Lyon (4), Monaco (70) and Manchester United (100), with a total of 45 goals.

At the age of 21, Arsenal's top scorer Thierry Henry has played 141 matches with Monaco and 19 matches with Juventus. He managed to score 31 goals before he made history with Arsenal & Barcelona.
