CAIRO – 5 October 2017: Mohamed Salah continues his impressive start with Liverpool to win player of the month and goal of the month in Liverpool for the second time.
The Egyptian National Team forward, Mohamed Salah, won by 41 percent of the public vote the title of player of the month in September in Liverpool, and his teammate the Brazilian Philippe Coutinho came after Salah with 23 percent.
Salah earned the votes after his notable performance with the team since he joined earlier after this summer's transfer market, having scored six goals in his 11 appearances with his new team, according to Liverpool’s official Website.
The Egyptian also won September's best goal poll by 43 percent of the votes; the goal that won the title was scored by his head in Leicester City’s net, in the game that ended with a 3-2 victory for Liverpool.
This is not the first time for Momo, as his teammates call him, to win both trophies with Liverpool as he won them in August as well. He is supposed to be presented his awards at Melwood after he returns from Egypt, as he joined the Egyptian National Team to face Congo in the fifth round of the African World Cup Qualifiers.
