CAIRO – 4 October 2017: The Egyptian National Team of Kung Fu won the seventh place in the overall ranking of the World Kung Fu Championship, which was held recently in the city of Kazan, Russia, which participated by 64 countries.
The Pharaohs won seventh place after winning 6 silver medals and 3 bronze medals.
The medals were as follows:
Sherouk Zaki (Silver 65K)
Ayman Galal (Silver 70K)
Omar Mamdouh (Silver 90K)
Heba Abdelkader (Bronze 75k)
Ashraf Abdel Gawad (Bronze 85K)
Moataz Rady (Bronze Over 98K)
While the Iranian team won the first place in the World Kung Fu Championship with 8 medals 7 gold medals and single silver.
The national team is headed by Hussein Abdel Mawgod, the Sanda coach, and Khallaf, the martial arts coach.
Egypt won the 6th African Wushu Kung Fu Championship and ranked first in the Wushu Sanda and Taolu martial arts styles at the African Championship held in Benin on July 19 to July 24.
