Al Ahly, Esperance, Etoile, CAF Champions League
CAIRO – 1 October 2017: Egyptian Ambassador to Tunisia, Nabil El Habashi, announced on Sunday that Al Ahly fans in Tunisia will attend the game against Tunisian side, Etoile du Sahel, for free.
“Etoile’s board assigned a stand in the stadium for Al Ahly fans who will attend the game, the fans will attend the game without tickets; they only need their passports, and the stadium gates will close at 5,” El Habashi told Rado Station program, Stad El Hadaf.
Al Ahly fans flied to Sousse in recently to support the team in their decisive game against Etoile.
El Habashi added, “I kept in touch with Tunisian officials and Sousse governorate to ensure Al Ahly’s delegation’s safety, they all confirmed their safety and they also warned Al Ahly fans from using flares during the game.”
Al Ahly faces Tunisian club Etoile du Sahel on Sunday in CAF Champions League semi-finals at Stade Olympique de Sousse in Tunisia. Al Ahly hopes to return from this stadium with a victory qualifying them to the CAF Champions League finals.
