CAIRO – 25 September 2017: Arsenal achieved a precious victory in their away game against BATE Borisov, 4-2, in a match played at the stadium “Borisov arena” in the second round of Group H of the European League.

Egyptian player Mohamed Elneny gave a solid performance during the whole game. Elneny was defending, leaving the offense to Joseph Willock and Jack Wilshere.

Theo Walcott opened the scoring sheet in the 10th minute after a cross from Wilshere, before adding the second goal in the 22nd minute. Just three minutes later, Rob Holding picked up a perfect cross from a corner to put it in the net.

In the 27th minute, Patti reduced the score by a strong header by Mirko Ivanic. The first half ended with a 3-1 score to Arsenal.

With the start of the second half, the long-awaited goal was scored. Olivier Giroud from a penalty scored his 100th goal with Arsenal.

BATE Borisov’s Mikhail Gordeychuk scored in the 66th minute.
Arsenal is at the top of the group, with six points from two games, while BATE Borisov has a single point.

FK Crvena Zvezda beat Cologne to take second place in the group behind Arsenal with four points.
