CAIRO – 23 September 2017: Tottenham Hotspurs have won their opening three Premier League away games for the first time ever.
Nothing can stop Harry Kane, Tottenham`s striker, when the curtain of a London derby rises. “Hurricane”, Harry`s nickname, strikes with all his strength whenever it comes to Arsenal, Chelsea, Crystal Palace or West Ham.
West Ham is Kane’s favorite victim, despite that he has never made a mark on them in their stadium. He has scored 7 goals in the last six official matches.
Tottenham’s 3-0 win at the Olympic Games takes its stamp. Kane scored two goals, which could have been four.
Christian Eriksen, the Danish international, has now scored more goals (33) than any other Danish player in Premier League history.
Five minutes later, Javier Hernandez Chicharito scored his third goal this season. It was hard for the rest of the match, as Serge Aurier was sent off after he got his second yellow card in the match.
A late goal by Cheikhou Kouyate was scored in the 87th minute, which made the Spurs suffer until the referee whistled without any sorrow for the fans.
It did not matter. The “9” of the Spurs had already left his seal with a double that extends his legend in the derbies. His trajectory against London opponents in the Premier is tremendous: he has scored 21 goals in 29 games.
In fact, only Thierry Henry, Arsenal`s legend - marked 43 goals in 59 derbies - exceeds him in all history. Henry - got one goal every 114 minutes - is also the only one that exceeds Kane's ratio (120) among players who have scored 10 or more goals in the derbies. This is almost nothing if we consider that “Hurricane” is only 24 years old.
