Costa: Atletico Madrid is my home, and here I am

CAIRO – 23 September 2017: Atletico Madrid announced on Thursday that it has reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign their Spanish striker, Diego Costa, who has already touched down in the Spanish capital, where he spoke about his move back to LaLiga.

He called Atletico Madrid his home and added that he is glad to be back wearing red and white. "Atletico Madrid is my home, and here I am," he said upon his arrival at Madrid's airport.

About the negotiations, he said, “it went on for too long, but there was a happy ending in the end.”

Costa said about his teammates, “now I'm waiting to see my teammates and to train.”
"You always become a little nervous when time drags on, but Miguel Angel Gil put in lots of effort, and I'm grateful," Costa said to MARCA.

"I don't want to have an ungrateful attitude towards Chelsea, because I was also very happy there and played in a great team," he told MARCA.
