Phil Neville praises Marcus Rashford

CAIRO – 22 September 2017: Phil Neville, Manchester United legend, believes that Marcus Rashford is as good as French talents Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele.

Neville is working as a pundit for Sky Sports’ coverage of Manchester United`s game against Burton Albion in the Carabao Cup. Rashford scored a double and helped his team to qualify to the next round of the Cup.

"Everybody praises Ousmane Dembele and Kylian Mbappe, but nobody talks about Rashford in this country," Neville said following the game.

"Because he's English, we just say 'he plays on the left wing, he's OK.' He is up there with Dembele and Mbappe, who also play on either wing. People say you have to play Rashford as a centre-forward, but you can play him anywhere because he is good enough,” Neville stated.

"Rashford is in the same bracket as those two - £100m-£150m players. He is every bit as good as those two and can be in the future, because he is improving every season," Neville added.

Barcelona signed Ousmane Dembele to be their club record signing this summer, while Kylian Mbappe will become the most expensive youngster when he completes his move to Paris Saint Germain next summer.
