CAIRO – 22 September 2017 : Jesus Navas celebrated his 400th game wearing Sevilla’s jersey with a late goal that led Sevilla to beat Las Palmas 1-0 on Wednesday at Seviila’s stadium, Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán.

Navas, born in Sevilla joined the club when he was just 15, it took him just three years to win his first participation with the first team against Espanyol, the game that Sevilla lost 0-1.

Navas, since then became a regular player at Sevilla first team and he continued occupying the right flank of his team.

Navas left Sevilla in 2013, he joined the blue side of Manchester, Manchester City in 2013 and he stayed there for four years but he couldn’t be away from Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán more, so he returned to his beloved city in 2017.

Navas was the only player from Sevilla FC among the Spanish squad who won 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.

Navas is the Sevilla player with the most titles as he won six titles with the club including two UEFA Cups in 2006 and 2007 during the Golden era of the team, when the team consisted of Luis Fabiano, Adriano Correa, Dani Alves, Frederic Kanoute beside Jesus Navas.

Navas would be the Sevilla player with highest caps this season as he is only 15 games away from the player on top of the table, Pablo Blanco.

Navas shared Sevilla’s dressing room with Sergio Ramos, Dani Alves, Seydou Keita and Alvaro Negredo. They all left the club searching for their dreams, but he was different as his 4 years away proved that his dreams only set to be achieved in Sevilla.
