FIFA to announce best players of the year

CAIRO – 18 September 2017: The final list of candidates for the 2017 Best FIFA Football Awards will be announced by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) on Friday.

The awards will take place at Bloomsbury Hall in London on October 23. A number of football legends such as Roberto Di Matteo (Italy), Jay-Jay Okocha (Nigeria), Alex Scott (England), Andriy Shevchenko (Ukraine) and Peter Shilton (England) will reveal the three candidates for each of the following awards:

1 - The Best FIFA Men’s Player

2- The Best FIFA Women’s Player

3 –The Best FIFA Men’s Coach

4 –The Best FIFA Women’s Coach

5- The Best FIFA Goalkeeper

6. The FIFA Fan Award

The candidates for the FIFA Puskás Award for best goal of the year will also be unveiled. Votes can be cast by FIFA.com users from around the world once the ten-goal shortlist is announced.
