Salah: My teammates are my family

CAIRO – 12 September 2017: Mohamed Salah, Liverpool`s Egyptian player, has been chosen by the fans to win the “Liverpool`s player of the month” award.

Salah has played a key part in a strong start in all the competitions by scoring three goals and providing two assists.

The 25-year-old expressed his happiness to Liverpool`s Official website (liverpoolfc.com) and said: "I'm very happy to be here, it's like my family. I'm happy to be [at] the club with these players."

He talked about the prospective clash against the Spanish side, Sevilla, in the group stages of the Champions League. He hopes for a response after Saturday`s defeat against Manchester City in the English Premier league.

He said: "We have to look forward to the next game, forget that result and play like before."
He added: "I'm very, very excited to start the Champions League games at Anfield. I would like to win that game!"
Mohamed Salah moved to Liverpool coming from AS Roma for an €42 million.
