Neymar, Falcao Compete for 'Player of the Month' title

CAIRO – 12 September 2017: Ligue 1, the French League's official website has declared on Tuesday the names of three nominated players for the "Player of the Month" title for August in the French Ligue.

The first nominated player is the Brazilian Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior who joined the French club Paris Saint-Germain F.C this summer for €222 million ($265 million) as he scored four goals in the league.

The second nominated player is the Monaco striker, and the Colombian footballer, Radamel Falcao, who ranked the French Ligue’s top list by scoring seven goals alongside with Paris Saint-Germain striker, Edinson Cavani.

The third nominated football player is the French national player Nabil Fekir who joined Olympique Lyonnais Club on loan from Monaco Club and scored four goals for his team in August at the French Ligue.

French Ligue1 (2017/2018) is the 80th season for the French league; it started on August 4, 2017 to end on May 4, 2018 with the participation of twenty teams; Monaco is the champion so far.
