CAIRO – 12 September 2017: Saudi Arabian side, Al-Hilal defeated Emirati side, Al-Ain 3-0 on Monday at Asian Champions League quarter finals second leg t reach the semi-finals.
Both teams started the game trying to score the first goal to have the upper hand in the game, but Al-Ain surprised Al-Hilal by controlling the midfield and dominating the first half.
Al-Hilal striker, Carlos Eduardo scored the first goal for Al-Hilal at 42th minute after a great cross from Nicolas Milesi, four minutes later Eduardo made a strike in the second goal to end the first half 2-0.
The second half started with Al-Ain trying to score the first goal but Al-Hilal defense succeeded to protect their area, Al-Hilal players kept missing many chances to score the third goal until Carlos Eduardo scored his third goal in the game at 74th minute to end the match 3-0, Al-Hilal kept his amazing campaign in the competition without losing any game.
Knowing that the first leg ended 0-0 at UAE, Al-Ahly qualified to AFC Champions League semi-finals.
