Muller speaks about his doubtful move to Manchester united

CAIRO – 12 September 2017: Thomas Muller, German forward, revealed that he considered move from Bayern Munich to Manchester United two years ago.

Manchester United offered a bid £85m for the German attacker in the summer of 2015 but the transfer didn`t find a way through. Muller admitted that he gave a thought for the transfer but Bayern`s board made his mind up to stay.

According to Kicker, Thomas said: "There was a stage when the subject arose two years ago when I considered it.

"I didn't have to think about it a great deal after Bayern said we are counting on you and that you are an important man for us."

He continued: "Of course, it's possible [to leave]. When my time is up, it's up. [Bastian] Schweinsteiger was here for over 10 years and now he's been gone for over two years and another player is here instead.

Muller has won six Bundesliga titles in total, as well as the Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup in 2013.
