Real Madrid players need Ronaldo back

CAIRO – 11 September 2017: Real Madrid players revealed that they need Cristiano Ronaldo back to help them in the upcoming events.
Cristiano Ronaldo has missed Real's last four games due to a suspension for pushing a referee in the Spanish Super Cup against Barcelona.

The long ban has prevented Ronaldo from making a single competitive start this season and his comeback arrives at a time when Real need him most.

He is expected to be back in the next clash against Cypriot side, Apoel, in the first match of the group stages as Real Madrid starts their defence of the Champions League.

Real Madrid have suffered in their last two home games in the Spanish League. They drew against both Valencia and Levante by the same score, 1-1.

"We tried hard throughout and our intensity was there as always but we just couldn't make the most of our chances," Theo Hernandez said, According to Marca.

He continued: "Maybe we did lack a little spark but we gave everything. We do need Cristiano to score goals but we don't necessarily need a No. 9. The squad will continue as it is."

The Spanish player, Marcos Llorente, has agreed with his teammate`s talk, he stated: "It is clear that in this team, Ronaldo is very important and has an ability to score incredible goals. It would have been good to have him but those who did play tried their best throughout.
