Barcelona sign Colombian defender Yerry Mina

CAIRO – 11 September 2017:According to Sport, Barcelona have signed Yerry Mina from the Brazilian club, Palmeiras for 9 million euros.

Barcelona have paid Mina`s release clause but the player will be able to play for the Spanish team next summer.

The 22-year-old player is a key player in the Palmeiras side who won the last championship.

The Colombian defender has played 27 matches for Palmeiras. He scored 6 goals and helped his team with 2 assists. He has 6 international appearances with his national team.

This summer, Barcelona have signed Paulinho, the central midfield, from Guangzhou Evergrande. Also, Gerard Deulofeu from Everton, Nelson Semedo from Benfica, Ousmane Dembélé from Borussia Dortmund and Marlon Santos from Fluminense.
